Help Sonya, Scott, and Cole Recover After Devastating Fire

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sabrina, a California-loving Sierra Madrean who feels helpless in the wake of the Eaton fire. Like so many of us right now, my dear friends, Sonya, Scott, and their vibrant 9-year-old Cole need our help.

They have just completely lost their home in the cruel and unforgiving blaze that swept our beloved Altadena community.

They are hardworking helpers who are kind and incredible stewards of Mother Nature, spending most of their time hiking among the trees and honoring the spoils every season has to offer. The home that grounded them was a place for laughter and to gather our children to swim in the pool they worked so hard to build, has now been reduced to a pile of rubble. The gorgeous garden that Scott carefully researched and hand-selected natives for, out of respect for the surroundings they thrived in, is a distant memory now.

As we all try to grapple with the aftermath of this devastating tragedy that has hit our vibrant and undeserving community, we need to mourn, we need to be angry, and then we need to lift each other up.

Every dollar helps, even if it’s small, and will go a long way in helping them recover. Help show our friends and neighbors that they haven’t lost everything; they still have us! Please help any way you can.
