As many of you know, Sonya and Rob recently lost their deeply beloved cat Autolycus after a miserable and expensive battle with kidney disease.

In addition to being heartbreaking, pet emergencies are expensive. The veterinary team who took care of Autolycus were wonderful -- kind, generous, and deeply caring. Still, Autolycus's initial hospitalization and hospice costs were around $6,000, and that's not counting all the other costs (or other emergencies that descended upon them around the same time). Sonya and Rob need help to cover these costs.
