On August 17, tragedy struck when our dear friend and beloved nurse, Sonya Burgo, lost her home in a devastating house fire. She awoke around 1:30 AM to a "glowing orange" engulfing her room. By the grace of God, Sonya, her family, and their animals escaped safely.

Now, they face the unimaginable challenge of starting over with nothing but the pajamas they escaped in. The months ahead will look very different as they work to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
