Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

As many of you know, the recent Eaton fire in Altadena has left many families devastated. Among those affected is our dear friend Sonya Fleming and her son Ryan, who tragically lost their home to the flames. Sonya has been part of this beautiful community for well over 20 years, and now they are facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. We are immensely grateful and relieved that Sonya and her son Ryan are safe but with only minutes to evacuate their home, everything she once knew—her possessions, her memories, and her sense of safety—has been destroyed in this fire.

Sonya has always been a pillar of strength, kindness, and compassion, always willing to lend a hand and offer support to those in need. Now, in this incredibly difficult time, it’s our turn to help her.
