At the age of 30 Sonya Johnson was diagnosed with stage 3, triple negative, invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer on November 1st 2017.  She went through 6 months of chemotherapy and then had a double mastectomy at the end of April 2018, at which time her doctors declared her cancer free.  However, since then Sonya has been experiencing a great deal of pain in her chest and ribcage so her Doctor ordered a PET scan on September 27th and was given a diagnoses of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer with the cancer spreading to her bones, lymph nodes, liver, and possibly to her gastrointestinal and urinary tract systems.  Sonya has been with Massage Envy for 6 years, working in North Carolina and Florida at 6 different clinics.  She is very passionate about the Massage Envy brand and was just promoted to Director of Operations of a multi-unit franchise.  Sonya will need to undergo additional chemotherapy and surgery and has already accumulated over $75,000 of medical debt.  This is devastating news to Sonya, her family, and her Massage Envy family as she is brilliant, beautiful, and one of the kindest souls you will ever meet.  Sonya and her family will be eternally grateful for any donation you can afford to give.
