Help Sonya Stollings in Her Fight Against Lung Cancer

Friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers — today we’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for an incredible woman, Sonya Stollings.

Sonya is more than just a name — she is a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose strength and warmth have touched everyone lucky enough to know her. She’s the kind of person who always puts others first, offering a smile, a listening ear, and a helping hand, even on her hardest days.

Recently, Sonya received the devastating diagnosis of stage 3 squamous cell lung carcinoma, a serious and aggressive form of cancer. Her fight doesn’t stop there. She’s also facing a partially collapsed lung, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and metastatic endobronchial lymph node involvement. This diagnosis has shaken her family to the core, but they are standing by her side with faith, love, and hope.

Sonya now begins the battle of her life — undergoing intensive radiation and chemotherapy to try and stop the cancer from spreading. These treatments are physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming.
