We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help in supporting our beloved Sonny—a devoted son, brother, uncle, and single father—who recently survived a horrific car accident.

Sonny was involved in a devastating crash that flipped his car nearly 40 feet. Although he doesn’t remember the details, it appears he may have been rear-ended by a hit-and-run driver. The impact left him with life-threatening injuries: five broken ribs, a punctured lung, a hole in his aorta (heart), fractured pelvis and hip, two fractured vertebrae, and internal injuries to his diaphragm and spleen—requiring emergency surgery.

He was airlifted from the scene and rushed into multiple surgeries. Sedated for nearly three weeks while his lungs fought off fluid buildup, Sonny was placed on a ventilator and relied on a feeding tube. At one point, he couldn't move his left arm. Against all odds, Sonny woke up—and began to fight his way back.

Today, he’s breathing on his own and working through intense physical therapy to learn how to walk again. His strength and resilience continue to inspire everyone around him.

As a dedicated single parent, Sonny has always put his kids first. But now, with no income during recovery and mounting medical expenses, he needs our help. We're raising $10,000 to help cover:

Ongoing medical bills

Physical therapy and follow-up care

Daily living expenses while he's unable to work

Replacing lost essentials like his glasses and teeth

A reliable car when he’s ready to drive again

While Sonny plans to appeal the $63,000 helicopter transport bill, that cost is not included in this fundraiser.

Our family is doing all we can—taking turns caring for Sonny, his children, and our elderly parents (whom Sonny cared for before the accident). Some of us have flown in to help, but we can’t do this alone.
