Help Sonja with home repairs after arson

One of our block captains and community activist Sonja Bingham had her home lit on fire early this morning. Two women stole her camera, threw gasoline on her house and lit it up. Sonja was targeted because of her activism. This is unacceptable and sad. This isn't the first time our community members have been targeted in the past few months. Sonja along with others have been patrolling and helping to make our community better. Sonja said to me this morning that this terroristic act will not make her go away. Please donate if you can, to help Sonja repair the front of her home and replace her stolen doorbell camera. Her storm door needs to be replaced, her inside door has to be cleaned from smoke damage. We are awaiting an assessment of her brickpoint and water spigot. Her hose melted in the fire. Her family is uninjured physically but traumatized emotionally.
