Dear Brothers and Sisters, As we mourn the loss of our beloved Chaplain and friend, Steve Ballinger, we also celebrate his ministry and life. A true servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a man after God’s own heart, Chaplain Steve was a champion to his wife and family and a hero of many hearts and lives. The writer of the book of Hebrews said it best when he describes heroes of faith as “of whom the world was not worthy” (Hebrews 11:38). His faith was an example of how to “attain a good testimony through faith.” We can hear these words to Chaplain Steve, “Well done my good and faithful servant.” He will be truly missed. Our prayers are with his wife, Sonja during this most difficult time. We would like to present an opportunity to bless his dear wife Sonja by helping cover some of the costs of the funeral/service.
