Sonic, my beloved cat, has been losing weight and recently turned jaundice, which led to an emergency vet visit. He was diagnosed with immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA), a serious condition that causes his body to attack its own red blood cells. The ER vet told me he had no chance of survival and recommended putting him down, but Sonic has been eating and showing he wants to fight. I couldn’t give up on him, so I took him to another vet for a second opinion. They told me he needs an emergency blood transfusion, steroids, hospitalization, and further blood work just to increase his chances of survival.

Sonic is my best friend and soul mate, and I would do anything to give him a fighting chance. The funds raised will cover his blood transfusion, medications, and hospital stay. My pet is my family, and any pet owner knows how much any help is appreciated, especially during financially stressful times. Every dollar will go directly toward Sonic’s care and give him the best possible chance to recover.

I rescued Sonic from the streets in the Bronx, and since then he has become one of the most important creatures in my life. He’s such a sweet, gentle, and well-behaved cat, and even now that he’s sick, he continues to fight. I would really appreciate any help, whether big or small.
