Our fabulous friend and colleague, Sonia Steverson, lost everything in a house fire this past weekend, including her beloved dog Lexie.  Sonia and her mom were not home at the time of the fire so were fortunate to escape unharmed, however everything they owned was destroyed. Literally everything.

With no renter's insurance to cover their losses, Sonia and her mom are relying on friends and family to help during their time of need and this is where we can all contribute.  Sonia is currently receiving emergency assistance from the Red Cross, but we can support her as she rebuilds in the long term.  She needs to find a new home, fast, and when she finds it she needs to completely furnish it, top to bottom.  Any excess household items you can donate would be appreciated: furniture, clothing, rugs, towels, kitchen items, bedding, toiletries, wall art, etc.  Alternatively, your cash donation will help Sonia cover the enormous expense of starting over after this horrific event.

As testament to Sonia's professionalism and commitment to her work, she was at her desk early Tuesday morning, as scheduled, opening the club and serving our membership with her usual sparkling personality and ready smile.  This despite the tragedy in her personal life!  Sonia is a well liked and well respected member of the BTC family, and we hope you can help her as she recovers from this personal catastrophe.
