Help Sonia Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is Bachir Iskamlaji, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my daughter, Sonia. I currently live in the Dominican Republic, where GoFundMe is not available. A close friend in the United States is kindly helping by receiving the donations and securely transferring them to me so I can cover Sonia’s medical expenses.

Sonia Iskamlaji is a brave and kind-hearted 44-year-old single mother living in Lebanon, who is fighting stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that is rapidly spreading to her breasts, lungs, and bones.

Sonia, a mother of two university students, continues to fight every day with admirable strength and positivity, focusing on her well-being and the future of her children, despite the pain and severity of her diagnosis.

Her doctors have prescribed an urgent, long-term, and very costly treatment. We need help to cover:

Sadly, government support in Lebanon for serious cases like hers is nearly nonexistent.

Sonia’s treatment plan involves six continuous 3-week cycles without interruption. After completing the cycles, she will need continuous medication and medical supervision for two years.

She is currently undergoing her third cycle of treatment but urgently needs help to cover the expenses, as she has very limited financial resources.

That’s why we have launched this campaign, with the hope of raising $100,000 USD to cover her medical expenses for the next two years, so that Sonia can focus on her recovery and rebuilding her life alongside her family.

Un amigo cercano en los Estados Unidos me está ayudando amablemente recibiendo las donaciones y transfiriéndomelas de forma segura para poder cubrir los gastos médicos de Sonia.

Sonia Iskamlaji es una valiente y bondadosa madre soltera de 44 años que actualmente vive en el Líbano y que está luchando con gran coraje contra un cáncer de mama metastásico en etapa 4, que se está esparciendo rápidamente a sus senos, pulmones y huesos.

Sonia, madre de dos hijos universitarios, sigue luchando cada día con una actitud positiva y una fuerza admirable, enfocándose en su bienestar y en el futuro de sus hijos, a pesar del dolor y la gravedad de su diagnóstico.

Su médico ha prescrito un tratamiento urgente, prolongado y muy costoso. Necesitamos ayuda para cubrir:

Lamentablemente, en la República libanesa (El Líbano), la ayuda estatal es casi inexistente para estos casos.

El plan de tratamiento de Sonia requiere seis ciclos continuos sin interrupciones. Después de completar los ciclos, necesitará medicamentos de mantenimiento y supervisión médica continua durante dos años.

Actualmente está recibiendo su tercer ciclo de tratamiento, pero necesita urgentemente ayuda para cubrir los gastos, ya que cuenta con recursos financieros muy limitados.

Por eso hemos creado esta campaña, con la esperanza de recaudar $100,000 USD para cubrir sus gastos médicos durante los próximos dos años, y permitirle enfocarse en su recuperación y en reconstruir su vida junto a sus hijos.
