Mario Gomez was a loving and caring person who always made people laugh. He leaves behind family and children who cherished him deeply. Mario spent his last moments in hospice care, surrounded by love, but sadly passed away without leaving any funds behind, as he was on disability.
Sonia's family is stationed in Virginia, and her husband is currently deployed, making it difficult for her to handle everything alone as the only parent at home. She is facing the challenge of not having enough money to cover her Dad’s cremation and the shipping expenses needed to bring his ashes home with her. If she cannot raise the funds the county will take disposition and keep his ashes, preventing his family from honoring his memory and keeping him close. Time is also sensitive as they are giving her 2 weeks to raise the funds with a possibility of a 2 week extension.
Donations to this fundraiser will help Sonia pay for her Dad’s cremation and shipping expenses, ensuring his ashes stay with his family. Any support from friends, family, and the community will make a meaningful difference during this heartbreaking time. Please consider donating or sharing to help Sonia bring Mario's ashes to his final resting place with his daughter and give him the farewell he deserves.
