I’m helping my niece, Sonia de La Cruz, raise funds after the unexpected loss of her father, Magdaleno de la Cruz Pasión, in Wilson, NC. His passing is currently being investigated by the Wilson police department, and our family is facing the difficult task of bringing him home to Mexico so he can be laid to rest with loved ones.

This loss has left Sonia not only grieving but also facing significant and unexpected expenses. The cost of transporting her father’s body to Mexico is more than our family can manage alone. We want to honor Magdaleno’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves, surrounded by family and friends in his homeland.
