Help me fight for my life. Hi, my name is Sonia, I'm 46, and I'm a barber in Portland, Oregon. After a year of being sick, on and off, I have been diagnosed with brain cancer that has spread to my kidneys and liver.

The funds will be used for my two sets of chemo, brain surgery to remove the brain tumor, and radiation. I also have procedures I must undergo, including a bone marrow biopsy. Unfortunately, my insurance will cover a fraction of the cost.

I am relieved that I finally have a diagnosis as it has been a very difficult year. I will also be needing care for my surgery recovery, which is set for a very difficult surgery and recovery. My doctors say that I have a very good chance of fighting this, which I have every intention of doing.
