Help Sonia and Her Family Fight Cancer

A very dear friend Sonia Botelho Hansen has been diagnosed with Collon cancer a very serious and invasive form of the disease.

Sonia is a loving mother of two young children, six and eight years old, a wife, a daughter, and a friend to all.

Sonia’s diagnosis came on suddenly and has progressed very rapidly, leaving the family little time to prepare for all the expenses and needs that come along with such a progressive form of cancer.

Sonia had surgery on 08/08/2024 and now is currently undergoing an aggressive form of chemotherapy which has impacted her ability to work and doctors anticipate she will be out of work for at least a year..

Although the family has insurance, many of the medical expenses are not covered.

Battling cancer with two young children, fearing the worse is heartbreaking for everyone who knows and loves Sonia and her children.
