Help Sondra Tom Rebuild After Devastating Fire
Donation protected
On Sunday afternoon around 3PM, tragedy struck. A wheelchair battery exploded in Sondra Tom’s home and everything was lost within minutes. Thankfully, Sondra, her family, her dogs, and even her rabbit made it out safely. But they lost absolutely everything: clothing, shoes, memories, and a place to call home.
Sondra is currently staying in a motel with her loved ones and searching for a stable place to live. Without contents insurance, recovery will be incredibly difficult.
For those who know her, Sondra Tom is not just a name. She has spent her entire career and life supporting others. As an Executive Assistant at the Lower Nicola Indian Band (LNIB), Sondra has been a constant presence, serving her community with grace, dedication, and compassion. Her commitment has touched so many lives at both the organizational and community level.
We are raising funds to help Sondra and her family replace basic necessities, secure safe housing, and begin to rebuild from this devastating loss. No amount is too small. Your support will make a real difference in easing their burden and restoring hope.
Please consider donating and share this with others who may want to help. Let us show Sondra the same care and love she has always shown to those around her.
