Help Sondra Fulfill Her Mom's Last Wish

Hello my name is Sondra M, my mother was rushed to the hospital mid December due to viral infections, and COVID -19, persistent and severe hypoxemia. Seeing that she was battling with cancer, I thought she was going to win this battle. My mother was fighting this and overcame many obstacles but due to COVID-19 it took a huge toll on her. Unfortunately she did not make it after spending 3 weeks in the hospital, due to her lungs collapsed.

My mother was a very hard working, independent, loyal woman. She was a phenomenal mom, and was a crazy dog lover, she was an extraordinary cook, she had a huge obsession for coffee "coffee was life" for her, every moment she made an excuse just to have a cup of coffee. She was always present for the family moments and was a high spirited woman. She made every day count as if it was her last. Despite knowing that she was battling cancer she was still doing what she does best and keeping us all happy, encouraging us to do better, and to not be afraid of the unknown. She was always fighting and thriving that's why I feel like I lost somebody that is rare to find my best friend, my mom, my only one, and after all this unfortunately she couldn't make it this time.

During this time I am making arrangements for my mother's funeral. My mother had traveled often but one of her favorite trips was to Puerto Rico where she fell in love with la "Isla del Encanto". In which she decided to start her life there and her final wish was to be Rest In Peace in the island which she made her life. We are trying to transport her body from New York to Puerto Rico, and planning the funeral and burial, any donations are truly appreciated.
