I am Laura from Washington DC and I created this page for Sondos from Gaza, a mother of two young daughters facing starvation in north Gaza. 2-year-old Hoor and 1-year-old Buthaina have already survived two bombings. Now, sheltering in a school where food and water are extremely limited, the family is struggling to survive and desperate for help. When I learned their story from my friend Doaa, Sondos’ sister, I was eager to help. Please, join me so this beautiful family can survive through these incredibly difficult times.

When their home was bombed, the family was trapped under the rubble. Luckily, they survived and were rescued. They sought shelter in a school, but when the school was surrounded by tanks and then bombed, they were forced to flee without any of their belongings. Now the family is living in a school shelter for the displaced where the conditions are extremely difficult and food is very expensive.

Please help! With your donations, Sondos and her family can buy the food, medicine and basic necessities to survive until the borders reopen. Then, the family will use the money to evacuate out of Gaza to Egypt so that they can start a new and safe life.
