My name is Sommre Phillips and I am an undergraduate senior at the Cooper Union. I began this degree program in 2017 and now, eight years and many trials and tribulations later, I am two semesters away from completing it.

I was given a week's notice to pay my Fall 2025 bill. If I fail to do so, I risk being withdrawn from all coursework I am currently enrolled in. I work full-time and have taken advantage of all resources at my disposal–I have contacted my school’s financial aid department, I am continuing to seek outside scholarships, I am weighing loan options (which are scarce in my position), I am speaking to those in my community who have experience in this realm—and while I’ve learned a lot in a short time, I have not yet accessed the aid I need. The amount I am hoping to raise will cover the excess cost I cannot reasonably meet at this time.

It will mean the world to me to achieve this goal and complete this degree. Thank you for reading and for your continued support <3
