My name is Somkhid Wongsa, and I am reaching out for help after the recent March 2026 Kona Low Storm devastated my family's farm. I live here with my wife, daughter, niece (18), and nephew (12), and together we've worked hard to build a life through farming. While the floodwaters thankfully did not enter our home, the storm destroyed all of our crops and took away our chickens, which are our main source of income and food. I've been farming on this land for seven years, and have worked as a farmer for over twenty years. This is not just our livelihood—it's our way of life, and seeing it washed away in a single storm has been heartbreaking. To make matters worse, our generator was also damaged, making it even harder to recover and start over. We are doing our best to stay hopeful, but the loss is overwhelming. The funds raised will help us with immediate and urgent needs to get back on our feet. Any support, no matter how small, will make a huge difference for us as we try to get back on our feet.
