Help Solve Sean Gough's Tragic Case
Donation protected
My name is Stacy Gough, and I’m reaching out as a mother who lost her son far too soon. My son, Sean Gough, was a hard-working, kind-hearted young man who loved the Lord with all his heart. He deeply cared for his family, friends, and community, and he poured himself into everything he did—from working two jobs to running his pool business with pride and dedication.
Tragically, Sean lost his life on November 16, 2022, due to fentanyl poisoning. His vulnerable mental state was exploited by someone—or multiple people—who had no intention of helping him. Instead, they took advantage of his trust, stole his identity, and defrauded the business he worked so hard to build.
Crime Stoppers has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Unfortunately, that has not been enough to persuade those who know what happened to come forward. I'm asking for your help to raise additional funds to increase that reward in hopes that someone will come forward with the information needed to bring justice for Sean and accountability for the crimes committed against him.
As a mother, I live with the pain of not being able to protect my son from the choices he made—or the people who chose to hurt him. But I believe justice can still be served, and I believe in the power of community to help make that happen.
To honor Sean’s memory, I compiled a 30-day devotional using writings from his prayer journal. It's a reflection of his deep faith and love for God. You can download the devotional for free here: https://bit.ly/peaceatlastseangough
If you’d prefer a printed copy, just leave a note with your donation, and I’ll send one to you.
If no arrests are made, all donations will be donated to a local recovery center that helps people struggling with addiction—something Sean would have wanted.
Even a small donation can make a big difference. Please consider giving, and share this campaign with others who believe in justice, healing, and hope. Use zipcode 37421 when donating. No tip required, just slide it to $0.
Information Needed to help find those who harmed Sean:
If you or anyone you know has any of the following information, please come forward. Detective Miller is asking the public to consider these questions:
● Do you know who Sean was with on November 15th or 16th?
● Do you know any of his associates that use drugs?
● Do you know who he obtained drugs from?
● Do you know who was involved in the identity theft?
● Do you know who's involved in the fraudulent activity on his financial accounts?
If you can help, please call Crime Stoppers at the number in the image above. That line is available 24/7, and you will never be asked for your name.
