Hello friends and family!

For those who don’t know me, my name is Solomon Lloyd. I am an 11th grader in NYC. This year, I applied and was accepted into a Mandarin language abroad program in Taiwan. It's a 4-week trip facilitated by CIEE. It's an immersion experience that centers around the study of Mandarin and Taiwanese culture. I have been studying the language for over 11 years. I celebrate Chinese New Year with my family, and work at a Mandarin-language school in White Plains. It's been a goal of mine to visit a Mandarin-speaking country. I am asking for your help to fund this opportunity for a rich and fulfilling experience this summer.
