Help Solomon Rebuild

I wanted to put a face to the tragedy we have all been watching on the news. This is my brother, Solomon. He was one of the many people who fled for their lives, literally running from the fire in Paradise, Ca.

Solomon had only minutes before the fire consumed his home. He grabbed his 3 chickens, jumped in his truck and drove towards safety. Along the way he described terrifying flames roaring on both sides of the road. He saw power lines blocking roadways as people abandoned their vehicles and started running to safety.

He loaded as many people as he could into his car, but had to leave many behind.

As a person who recently lost all of my possessions, I know how hard these first few weeks can be. 

Solomon lives simply. He is humble and strong.  

Help me support my brother and give him a head start in these coming days of rebuilding and healing. Any amount you feel inspired to share will be appreciated and used to start again.
