Hi My name is Josie and I’m the owner of Solo. Solo is the border collie who was hit and dragged on the North Island Highway. She was picked up by someone but denied veterinary care for two weeks time. She finally was brought in to a local vet and we were contacted immediately. Solo needs surgery to get skin graphs on her front legs which are damaged down to her bone. She is on medication for infection and inflammation and pain. She has regular veterinary check ups and is costing our one income family a lot more then we anticipated.
