Hi, my name is Solo Ouedraogo, and I am deeply committed to giving back to my community in Burkina Faso, West Africa, where I was raised. Although I now live in New Jersey with my family, my dedication to making a positive impact back home remains unwavering.

What I’m Raising Funds For

I am raising funds to fix the bathrooms at Ecole Du Château, a school in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, that serves 880 students. The bathroom facilities are currently in dire condition, posing serious health risks for the students, especially young girls. Many are experiencing health issues, such as urinary tract infections, due to poor sanitation.

Improving these facilities is crucial to providing a clean, safe environment where students can focus on their education without unnecessary health challenges.

A Short Deadline and a Personal Appeal

I understand this is short notice, as the deadline is December 5th, but this project means so much to me. I’m reaching out because I genuinely need your help to complete it. This initiative is part of a much larger effort, and while I successfully covered the costs of shipping school supplies and backpacks to the same school, I’ve unfortunately run out of budget to finish this critical phase of the project.
