Update: His health complications were revealed to be far more expensive , and a high risk to operate on. This fundraiser is closed and I am currently trying to figure out how to get refunds out. There is an update with a little more info below.

This is my little orange gremlin and support cat, Solaire. For all 8 years of his life, he's been at my side, cuddling and keeping me company as I struggle through my chronic pain. After a major coughing fit a couple of weeks back, we've been working hard to figure out what is causing a repeated fluid buildup in his chest that threatens to suffocate him. We finally discovered it's a diaphragmatic hernia (this is ultimately good news knowing cancer was on the table the entire time we were running tests)!

Update: I got quotes for the surgery that will save his life and keep him going happy and healthy at 5000$!

I am drained and in debt from paying for the different tests and multiple chest drains to keep buying him time, and am desperate for help. This is the last step, and he can return to full health, so I can't give up! I have to find a way! I need help...
