As the photo may imply, I am a Furry content creator. This last year has been nothing short of a roller coaster for me: from being laid off from work, to being involved in an accident that cost me my two front teeth, & now I am facing foreclosure.
I have been trying to handle all the punches life keeps throwing at me but I’ve reached a point where I just need help. I was laid off from my job almost a year ago now when the Federal Government made cuts & mass lay-off to the Department of Education. Since then I have been sending job applications everywhere I can but either getting rejected or not hearing back. I’ve applied to jobs within my professional scope & even ones going back to my roots in the service industry in retail & fast food. The result is always the same: I either don’t hear back or I get rejected before I can even get to the first interview. Since then I've been accepting work however I can since I am handy & used to do sub-contractor work. However my rural hometown has only a finite supply of opportunities & I have fallen behind on my mortgage payments & need help catching up to avoid foreclosure on my home. I have survived most of my life on my own & up to this point, I’ve been relatively fine. While most folks out there have relatives to help in tumultuous times, unfortunately for me, it's only me, & I am alone on this.
The funds raised from this will go directly toward catching up on my mortgage to avoid foreclosure & covering only essential bills.
I've been working side gigs whenever I can get them, including content creation which has helped keep the lights on as well. I am in the process of selling off all my personal items of any monetary worth to keep myself afloat, but as I burn through the remainder of my assets trying to catch up, I realize that I am still going to be short. I just need help to survive this month, July & August as I’m currently taking an assessment for a new career in the local Sherrif's department, but even then I will not begin until the middle of July at the earliest. I just need some help surviving until then. Any support you can offer would make the world of difference. Your help will give me a chance to keep my home & get through this difficult period.
