Help Sol get something off his chest!!

After ten years of waiting, my partner Sol finally has a top surgery date! Sol is a gentle, caring person who has always puts others first. Sol is a prominent member of the Toronto queer music scene, and has always had time to support and uplift his community. Whether it be by baked goods, or by hands-on help, Sol has frequently taken the responsibility upon himself to care for those in his life recovering from gender affirming surgery. With the confirmation of his date, I'm excited for Sol to experience the joy that is being able to live his life to the fullest.

Despite the initial process being covered by OHIP, contouring will cost him over $4000, with an additional $2000 needed to cover rent and living costs while Sol recovers at home. In support of this, Sol has organized fundraising events, where prominent local bands have volunteered to play a concert to support Sol's recovery. The first concert is at The Arcade on March 29.
