Life has thrown unimaginable challenges at my amazing mom, Solangel. She was once a vibrant, self sufficient, independent person who always took care of others. Unfortunately over the last 8 years she's been battling serious health issues, including epilepsy, rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia. Now since living in England she has recently developed osteoarthritis and Atrial fibrillation or A-Fib for short, which has placed a strain on her heart making her weak and daily activities exhausting. These conditions have made it incredibly difficult for her to find stable employment. For years, her loving husband was her rock, providing unwavering care and support. However, their world was recently shattered when he was wrongfully convicted of a crime and unjustly imprisoned.

Now, Solangel faces these health struggles alone, without her primary caregiver and sole companion. The stress and hardship have only compounded her difficulties. She is determined to regain her strength and return to her beloved field of teaching and is trying to start physical and hydrotherapy. She urgently needs our help to cover essential medical expenses, basic living costs, and the therapy she needs to get back on her feet. We are also working tirelessly to appeal her husband’s conviction, but until he’s set free, she needs our help to take care of things the next few months.
