Help Sol attend the Victory Institute

Hi everybody!
I recently applied to and was accepted into the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute’s Candidate Training Program. I am thrilled at the opportunity to develop new skills and expand my understanding of how to be a leader.
The tuition for the program is $675, exclusive of travel.
To my community, I ask: if you are able, please help me in attending the Victory Institute’s Candidate Training Program.
I wish to be successful in this endeavor, not for my own sake, but for the sake of my community — my goal is to uplift the lived realities of my community and operate as a voice for those whose voices are not welcomed or heard or respected in the halls of government.
To be frank: I am tired of waiting for “the right time.”
If not me, who? If not now, when?
My community deserves somebody who will listen to and understand our nuanced reality. My community deserves to see themselves in the makeup of our government. The children of my community, the young queer folks of Ohio, deserve to see a queer adult, not simply surviving, but thriving.
Young queer folks deserve the see themselves reflected in the leaders of our communities and our society at large.
I humbly ask the community for assistance in working towards my goal of creating an Ohio where everyone may exist with lived and legal dignity.
