I am Mansour Alimrani, a Palestinian from Gaza living in the Netherlands. I am raising this fundraiser for my cousin Sojoud to help her in the crisis during the war in Gaza.

Sojoud's Story.

I am Sojoud Bakroon, a 20-year-old girl ، studying English Literature in my second year of university. My dream is so simple, yet so hard under the situation in the Gaza Strip.

It's never easy to ask for help, but this war has made it inevitable for us to do so. My family and I have lost everything: our home, our possessions, and our businesses. We've endured displacement, hunger, and the trauma of seeing our surroundings destroyed repeatedly.

As a person who always puts education and learning first, above all other things, it shattered my heart to see my university destroyed and its buildings brought down and reduced to rubble. I was supposed to now be preparing for my final year with a solid determination to graduate with distinction, but this genocide has started seemingly without any intention to end.

This was my university.

I'm now seeking to escape Gaza and go to Egypt where I will complete my studies.

My mother had to use a beans can to flatten the dough.

To be able to make my escape and assure my future, I need a total of $9,000. Here’s a breakdown of how the funds will be utilized for a secure departure from Gaza through Egypt, specifically through the Rafah Crossing Border:

• The cost of crossing the border to Egypt stands at $6,000 per adult. The funds will be directed to a travel agency called Hala.

• $3,000 will be used for apartment rent and living expenses

لكي أتمكن من الخروج وضمان مستقبلي ، أحتاج إلى إجمالي 7000$ أمريكي. في ما يلي تفصيل لكيفية استخدام هذه الأموال للمغادرة الآمنة من غزة عبر مصر، وتحديداً عبر معبر رفح الحدودي:

- 6000 دولار أمريكي للخروج من معبر رفح البري إلى مصر عبر شركة هلا للسفر

- سوف يتم استخدام 3000 دولار أمريكي في استئجار مكان سكن ومصاريف معيشة
