Help Soif Reach their Goal

Since The Treehouse Bistro closed in Carolina Beach, NC in 2011, we have hoped to get back into the restaurant business. When Amy opened Soif de Vin we were one step closer, knowing that eventually we would add a kitchen to this beautiful space.
Soif de Vin was made possible by some angels who had faith and confidence in Amy's vision, and have continued to be great supporters along the way, including contributing towards the kitchen addition.
However, we still need help to get over the finish line, and Covid has made that difficult. Additional investors have been hard to come by, we were closed to in-house customers for nearly five months while still having to pay rent and other overhead, and have only just started having regular customers again. We applied for all of the federal programs, through the SBA and our bank, but did not receive any benefit. In the meantime, the County has approved our plans, we have paid for half of the equipment, and are about ready to start construction. Any money raised will go toward equipment, construction and other costs associated with completing this project.
If you liked The Treehouse, you will love what we are about to do, as our food journey has brought us to a place where our combined experiences - both individually and together - are going to culminate in a menu based on what we are calling "international comfort food." Together with our shared 12 years experience in the wine business, we will create pairing menus and dishes that showcase the marriage between food and wine.
Along with the kitchen, we are also in the process of completing a cookbook, of sorts. "Beyond the Treehouse" will include recipes and photos, as well as stories about places, foods and experiences that have inspired us along the way. Contributors of $100 or more will receive a signed copy of the book when it is released early in the coming year.
We have been blessed with the support we have already received, as well as the ongoing relationships we have with customers past and present. We continue to hear positive comments about The Treehouse, and are grateful for the customers who have continued to follow us, and can't wait to showcase our new food in this new setting.
