Unfortunately my cousin Tricia’s sweet little Sophie puppers (Chiweenie is only 12lbs.) tried to jump on the bed and did not make it. When she fell she landed on her back rupturing a disc and possibly paralyzing her. She is currently unable to use her hind legs or move much at all. Sophie even had to get a catheter due to her not being able to relieve herself. The vet said we need an MRI to see all the damage and decide how to continue treatment. The MRI alone is $5,000 and a visit to the neurologist is $450 to walk in the door. That doesn’t include all the visits and procedures done so far or what’s left to come if she needs surgery and other procedures. It’s a great possibility she will be paralyzed for life. Sophie is young, her birthday is January 2022 so she only 2 years old. We ask you to share and donate, even $5 will give her an opportunity to make Sophie comfortable despite what may happen next. TIA
