Hi, my name is Sofia Naffziger. I am a 9th grader at Durango Highschool, and I am a part of the DHS Advanced Colours Choir. In March of 2022, many of us are traveling to NYC to be a part of one of 15 selected choirs singing at Carnegie Hall. I have been doing choir all through Middle School, and first heard about and have been looking forward to doing this trip since seventh grade. It is an amazing program that includes us traveling to New York City and singing with 14 other Choirs at Carnegie Hall under Dr. James Redding, who was selected by the Grammy Foundation as the 2020 Music Educator of the year. In addition, to Go Fund Me I am fundraising in order to go. I am looking forward to this trip so much, and it would mean a lot if you would help contribute to me going as it is VERY expensive for things such as flights, food, hotel, etc.
