Sofia is my precious one year old baby girl that has been diagnosed with ATRT (Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor), which is a rare, fast growing and agressive type of brain tumor. She requires rounds of intense chemotherapy and radiation and needs to remain hospitalized at all times. But due to her young age, she needs a parent with her at all times, and because of this my wife has not been able to work in order to be by her side to support her. The cancer has taken away her vision in one of her eyes. Even though physically impaired, I hope that she will be able to see the bright future she has in front of her.
