3 weeks ago, she complained of difficulty breathing. Her lungs had spontaneously collapsed (right lung deflated by 72%, left lung by 49%). She was placed in intensive care and led to her 2nd rare illness diagnosis...

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) as there are also tumors in her lungs, which are now damaging and ultimately led to its collapse.

Here we are today. 3 lung surgeries, 2 bouts of pneumonia, 1 blood transfusion, 3 weeks of daily scans/ tests.

We are a simple family from the Philippines. Given the rarity of her illnesses and finding/ supporting the right resources, this is admittedly beyond what we have ever prepared for.

From the kindness of your hearts, we need help to support her medical needs and for continuous monitoring of her tumor growths. The latter is our best measure to somehow manage her condition.
