Help Sofia, a Ukrainian refugee

Sofia Novikova is only 14 years. She is a refugee from Odesa, Ukraine. She escaped the war all by herslef. Her mother was not able to accompany her.

Now she is all alone in Romania and soon will on her way to Barcelona to meet her temporary foster family that kindly agreed to host Sofia for a few months while she is working on her documents to continue her journey either to Israel or US. 

Sofia has been fortunate to be surrounded by people with big hearts. Throughout this journey Sofia has been guided by two women from New York, who provided her support during her new life away from home: Sasha Krasny and Maria Budnitsky.

However Sofia has no financial resources whatsoever. This gofundme it to help Sofia and our already generous Spanish foster family to cover ongoing living costs, medical bills, and upcoming legal expenses.
