Help SOAR-Kensington Foster Inclusion

SOAR-Kensington is a parent-led group dedicated to children and families with neurodivergence, learning differences, mental health conditions, and/or other disabilities.

SOAR’s goal is to foster a more inclusive and equitable educational environment that celebrates differences and empowers each child to reach their full potential. SOAR believes that with the right Support, Opportunities, And Resources, all children at Kensington Hilltop Elementary School can thrive.

In furtherance of this mission, we are planning a "Celebrating Diverse Minds, Celebrating Inclusion" community event. The event will take place on May 4, 2025, from 1:30-3:30pm at the Kensington Community Center (59 Arlington Ave, Kensington, CA 94707).

This will be a free, kid-friendly event with lots of fun entertainment (big bubbles, face painting, hula hoops, a collective art project, a fire truck, etc.), delicious food from Mozzeria, a deaf-owned pizza truck, and live music (including a DJ and a live performance by "Call Waiting" with Ms. Landau and Matt Slevin). There will also be a number of service providers available to share resources and information.
