My name is Colby B., and my wife and I recently found a dog who, according to her microchip, is named Snowy. For about a week, we saw her lying in different yards near a busy road, looking lost and scared. We tried to approach her several times, but she was too frightened to come close. On December 24th, she finally made her way toward our home, and with some patience (and a few hotdogs), I was able to coax her into our driveway. She was hungry, tired, and clearly in need of help. That night, she returned to our house, and for the first time, let me pet her. We brought her inside, gave her a flea and tick bath, and made sure she had food and water.
Since then, this sweet dog has been in our care. We’ve taken her to two different animal hospitals, but she’s so anxious and scared that it’s been difficult for the vets to examine her. She’s chipped, and when the vet contacted her previous owners, they denied having any dogs. Despite medication to help calm her, she still needs urgent vet care, vaccinations, and a thorough checkup to address her bloating, labored breathing, and other health concerns. We want to give her the best chance at a healthy, happy life, but we need help covering the costs of her medical care, food, and any behavioral support she may need to recover from her ordeal.
We’re reaching out to our community for support. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward her care and recovery. Your kindness can help us give her the second chance she deserves. Thank you for reading her story and for considering a donation to help her heal and find happiness again.
