SNOWFLAKE URGENTLY NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Snowflake has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) this morning at Concord Vet Hospital We are absolutely devastated.
FIP is a viral disease caused by a feline coronavirus that affects wild and domestic cats.
The vet has given us two options:
(1) to pay a $2000 deposit and start FIP Treatment which will ultimately cost a minimum of $6000; or
(2) to put Snowflake out of her misery, and have her humanely euthanised within 24 hours
We have never had to euthanise any animal in our care! We have always gone above and beyond to get full treatments and emergency vet care (which we have paid for out of pocket)!
One of our rescue cats, Joey, just finished his $15,000 FIP treatment in November 2021. We paid for 90% of his treatment, as we didn’t have the available donations!
Unfortunately, it seems like we have come to a dead end. We are unable to take out any more loans, use third-party payment options or borrow any more money from friends/family. We already have so many pets in care and outstanding vet bills!
We feel absolutely defeated and helpless, and we don’t know what we can do to save Snowflake! We are hoping & praying for a miracle!
