Help Snow White Heal: Support Her Eye Surgery

Hi, this is Kitty Stuart, president of Carlsbad Cares Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, writing to you today about our very special little feral kitty, Snow White.

Little Snow White was brought to us by a kind person who cares about feral kitties. She was concerned because something awful had happened to her eye, and she was due to have babies any day.

We went right into action to help her.

Upon looking as close as we dared, we saw that she had a bad infection in one eye and some trauma to her other eye.

We have consulted with our vets at Dr. Weldon's here in Carlsbad, and they have confirmed that she will need to have her eye removed as soon as the kittens are weaned, which will be very soon.

Speaking of kittens, just a day after she came to us, she delivered four beautiful babies.

She is a wonderful mother who puts her babies first even though she is having a hard time with her eye.

It’s so touching to watch her cuddle her babies and to see how happy she is being a mom. She has so much love to give even though life has been hard on her.

The babies are fat and sassy and already have cute personalities.

Snow White is a very special little feral who is learning to trust us while we clean and medicate her eye several times daily until the vet can do surgery on her.

She purrs when we pet her, and she lets us love on her babies as well.

We have fallen in love with her. We will make sure she is spayed and that she is well taken care of after she is well again.

We will work with our local shelter to get her babies vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and placed in loving forever homes when they are ready.

We want to do everything possible to get Snow White pain-free and well again, but we need your help with the cost of her eye surgery, follow-up, and meds.

As you know, this kind of surgery can be very costly. Can you please help her?
