Snoopy has been my companion since he was a tiny kitten, and now at seven years old, he’s truly part of my family. He loves sitting on my lap while I play games and always waits for me on my bed when I get home from work. His presence brings so much comfort and joy to my life every single day.

Recently, Snoopy faced a life-threatening emergency. He developed a urethral obstruction and needed urgent care at the emergency vet. We took him to MSPCA- Angell west emergency animal hospital. The experience was terrifying—the vet told me that if I hadn’t brought him in when I did, he might not have survived the night. We spent hours at the hospital trying to figure out how to pay for his treatment. The deposit was a huge amount, and the total cost was even bigger, not including the special medicated diet he’ll need after he recovers. I never expected to be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but I couldn’t imagine life without him.

This has been a really scary experience, and I’m reaching out for help so Snoopy can get the care he needs and continue to be a part of my life for years to come.
