Help Snoopy Get Essential Dental Care

Snoopy (14) is in desperate need of a dental and needs several teeth pulled. As an elderly dog his vet care is getting more frequent and more expensive and I find that I am struggling to keep up. He’s already on an expensive prescription diet and is beginning regular pain meds in order to improve his quality of life, but the quality isn’t there while his teeth are in as bad a shape as they are.

Snoopy came into my life almost 10 years ago in very rough shape. His previous owner had lasered his vocal cords so his bark is almost non existent. He was more mats than dog and needed to be shaved down almost to his skin, and he had somehow acquired a blackberry vine that had lodged itself to the roof of his mouth and had begun to rot there. A couple of years after I had begun taking care of him it was found that he had developed bladder stones due to an ongoing untreated UTI that he had experienced prior to ending up with me, the surgery to remove them was a nightmare.

He’s now a happy elderly dog, he gets to sleep on the couch or bed and recognizes a coffee drive through immediately because he knows it’s time for treats. While he might be getting older he’s still willing to take on the stairs just so long as I carry him down them first, but I want the quality of his life to be even better. Which is why I’m asking for any help that you can give.
