Help Snickers in his Battle Against Cancer

Hello my gloriously stunning friend!

Thank you from the bottom of my fuzzy heart for taking the time out of your busy day to lend me your support!

I go by many names. Squish, Grizzle, Da Puss,... but my government name is Snickers (like the candy bar cuz I'm sweet and nutty), pleased to meet you!

I wish it were under happier circumstances that we meet today, like chin scritches or sharing a tasty treat, but unfortunately I'm fighting hard against an aggressive form of cancer called fibrosarcoma. I’ve already undergone 2 surgeries over the past year and a half. While I’ve bounced back each time strong as ever, it has returned yet again. This time, the only way for me to have a fighting chance is to undergo an equally aggressive and expensive regiment which will include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy...time is of the essence.

Don't be too sad though my beautiful friend. I'm a strong and mischievous boy who still loves to play, nap in the sun, and shake down my family for goodies! My daddy even calls me a big lion for how strong and resilient I am. Not to mention, everything the light touches is most definitely mine, but I'm willing to share... maybe…

What is needed

This full cancer fighting regiment will include Surgery, Radiation, and Chemotherapy, as well as ongoing recovery care and will need to start ASAP.

Estimates thus far have been in excess of $25,000 and require no less than 75%+ payment in advance of treatment (we can post exact invoices as we receive them)

Quality of life & What is to come

You might be wondering how hard this might be on my quality of life, I thank you for being so sweet. Well luckily this is where there is some good news! Kitties like me are no joke, we’re like little superheros! (but you probably already knew that cuz you're so gosh darn smart and charming ). According to the kind oncologist I met with, we cats respond very well and are less adversely affected by such treatments as radiation and chemotherapy. So even though it will be a daily dose over the course of several weeks, I'll still have plenty of strength to fight off my daddy's attempts to rub my belly!

With such an aggressive foe there are no guarantees, but this will give me the best and only fighting chance to help extend what is likely a prognosis of a couple months to the possibility of years more of love, snacks, impromptu fashion, being painted like one of the French girls, and charmingly mischievous escapades!

What we will do to pay it forward

There's something else I've thought of, so I asked my daddy to try to do this for me. Depending on how much we can raise, I would like to pay it forward by helping raise awareness and support for up to 3 organizations in our area that provide good care and shelter for my fellow furry friends and could use the same kind of helping love and support like I need. We would do this through various creative, professional, and multimedia services (my daddy and uncle are actually more clever and talented than they look. They make banger vids and other stuff! ).

Additionally, if we exceed what is needed for my treatment and aftercare, additional proceeds will be paid forward to similar programs in order to help other fur baby's, and their families, that may need help with their treatments. I told my daddy that no matter what the outcome, I'd like this to be my legacy.

Updates

We’ll be doing our best to follow the journey and give updates during treatment cuz I know if you're anything like my family, you can't get enough of me! If you know my daddy personally, I'm sure there's even more he'd be willing to do as a thank you for your generosity. He makes art, but who knows, maybe you like treats or moosage like I do, or maybe you need your litter box emptied. I'm pretty sure he'll do just about anything for me, so you just tell him I sent ya (kitty wink).

It hasn't been easy for me to ask,… on account of how hard it is typing with these chonky paws,... but from the deepest depths of our hearts, we appreciate your kindness and support more than you could ever know.
