Hello again from Snick and I. Some of you may remember my fundraiser for her emergency health crisis in May. She experienced chronic UTI, an intestinal blockage, and consequently internal bleeding and ulceration. She has been making decent progress on Miralax, Proviable probiotic, and hills science diet w/d and k/d prescription foods.

Since the time of the last donation/use of donations we received then, we have spent an additional 4,123.11 on her ongoing medical concerns. After months of diagnostics and treatments we have finally identified the bacteria causing her chronic UTIs(ecoli) and what antibiotics this may be susceptible to. We have also discovered that oral antibiotics are the biggest trigger for her GI issues and blockages. Then, when she gets backed up, she scoots her booty on the floor and reinfects herself with UTI causing bacteria. She received an antibiotic shot this week that will hopefully help finally free her from this cycle.

Snick has also had an ear infection (ongoing at this moment), a skin infection on her chin (due to allergy to new food), and now a respiratory infection as well. She has a follow up appointment on tuesday (10/28/25) for the respiratory infection and another in 2 weeks for a recheck of her urine sample labs. Those two appointments alone will cost well over $500 together. Snick is also in need of a dental, which one of our team of vets thinks is fairly urgent to avoid even further complications as her immune system is weakened. The quote on a dental and the pre-procedure blood work etc, at her age, is jarring.

I am confident that as long as I am diligent with Snicks care, she will come out of this year healthier and happier than before. However I am desperate for help. I have maxxed out every card, ruined my credit, and exhausted my options between losing Screamer, and then her last fundraiser, and now. I have spent every penny of my savings, and this month I have even dipped in to my rent. I work 7 days a week including some doubles. I skip meals and give up on many things I may want or need because Snick is my top priority even above myself. And I can't live with myself if I fail her. So I am, against my own ego and pride, asking for help with her medical care and upcoming diagnostics etc.
