A young addict in a smoking cessation group becomes entangled with a mysterious fellow member, transforming their space into an elaborate fantasy world where every milestone of their romance unfolds in a haze of smoke as his grip on reality begins to blur.

'Smokin-Hot' explores the tension between passion and self-destruction, following a character caught between a toxic habit and a relationship that demands change. At its heart, our film is about the moment we decide to stop being passengers in our own lives - whether in love or addiction - and choose to become autonomous.

We are a group of student filmmakers committed to shooting this project entirely on 16mm film. All proceeds will go directly towards covering the cost of film rolls, processing and scanning, shooting locations and feeding our cast and crew.
