Hi everyone! This is our stray cat, Smokey. About six months ago, Smokey started coming to our front door. When he first appeared, it was clear he was very feral and had no owner. He had no ears, his back legs were (and still are) extremely wobbly, and he is not fixed. Despite his rough start, we began leaving food and water out for him every day, hoping to earn his trust and help him feel safe.


After about four months, Smokey started to warm up to my mom, letting her pet him, and eventually, he began to trust me as well. Now, Smokey comes inside and sits by the front door, enjoying the warmth while we feed him and give him love. We would love to fully take him in, but with five other cats in the house, we need to get him fixed and vaccinated before he can safely become an indoor cat.
