Two weeks ago, Smokey, my beloved dog, began showing signs of distress—he wasn’t eating and was frequently throwing up. Concerned for his well-being, I took him to the vet, where he underwent weeks of x-rays, examinations, and different medications. Eventually, the tests revealed that Smokey had an obstruction and needed urgent surgery. The procedure was long and difficult, and unfortunately, he experienced complications afterward, requiring immediate transfer to an emergency vet for further post-operative care. Smokey is still receiving treatment, and the bills continue to rise, 8,798 dollars as of now. Please help us as we fight for his recovery.
