Hello, me and my little family have had a rough last 3 days. Friday morning my baby Smoke became very ill and progressively got worse over the night. Saturday morning we took him in to get tests that determined a blockage in his stomach, thankfully we caught it in time and there wasn’t extensive damage to his body. Within a moment we had to make a decision whether to spend all of this money on his surgery, or something we could barely even imagine. The decision was easy in choosing to save his life but the after math of expenses was not. With Smokes other owner and my partner Ronnie just having torn his ACL and being out of work for his surgery this was the definition of bad timing. We had hopes of buying a house within the next year but with all these recent financial hardships, it is going to be more challenging. I don’t at all expect to reach my goal or for anyone to donate but I would appreciate any help in covering Smokes medical expenses. He is out of surgery as of today and at home in his make shift “recovery room” where he will be for two weeks while his stitches heal. I thank everyone for all the support they have given me through this whirl wind of the last 3 days and all the prayers for Smoke.
